Hello staff of UC Berkeley and welcome to the Disabled Staff Resource Network (DSRN) Web site.
This grassroots project provides a peer-based support system for disabled staff, their allies, and their advocates. On our campus, when people hear disability they automatically think of accommodations. We are so much more than something to accommodate ! We may need assistance, but that does not mean we cannot do the job just as well (if not better) than everyone else. In fact, most people with disabilities do not even need accommodations.
This project was created to support disabled staff in the workplace, connect disabled staff with one another, and demonstrate the diversity of disability within the campus community.
